This event has concluded.

Kelli Nielsen didn’t grow up with visions of becoming The Grief Guru, but life had other plans. After losing her mother to suicide in 2017 and teenage son to an opioid overdose in 2019, she found herself swept out in a sea of grief. Barely able to get through the days, she looked for help and was discouraged when she didn’t find the support or tools to recover.

Kelli has since become a speaker, author, and coach. Her book, “You’re Not Crazy, You’re Grieving,” shares the process she used to heal from tremendous loss. She also founded The Grief Guru, a company focused on helping others learn to move forward on purpose, in purpose and love their lives after loss.

COVID has brought its own set of challenges in which many have experienced loss and grief. This presentation will bring a message of inspiration and positivity during a time when all of us could use some hope and light.

Kelli will share her personal testimony along with powerful tools from the Grief Relief Program. She will also talk about processing grief in the midst of a pandemic, and what it means to let go of what was and embrace what is in the midst of trying times.

“Advancing Through Adversity” is a free, online event for the public.
